Madonna and Charli XCX have officially confirmed a joint remix of “Danceteria,” the dance-floor cut from Madonna’s 2026 album Confessions II. A short teaser shared on social media on Friday, 18 September, shows the pair in a white studio space trading lines. Madonna asks, “You wanna talk about Madonna and Charli?” before delivering the original song’s line “Everyone here is a work of art,” while Charli answers with traded vocals. The caption reads: “Let’s take it to the East side baby……” alongside the 24 September date.
From online sparring to a Paris “mini-break”
The collaboration closes a loop that began with public friction and ended in shared nights out.
