Stories should be sourced, dated, and honest about what is known. We do not invent quotes, statistics, or eyewitness detail. If a piece is a rewrite of reported work, we name the outlets we drew from.

When ERA assists a story, the byline says so. Human editors review drafts before they go live. Unpublished drafts and previews are not offered to search engines.
Corrections
If we get a fact wrong, we correct the story and keep the correction on the page. Write the desk if something does not hold.
