Frieze London 2026 and its sister fair Frieze Masters return to The Regent's Park from Wednesday 14 to Sunday 18 October 2026. Wednesday is invitation-only, and general admission opens at 1pm on Thursday 15 October. Together the two fairs bring close to 300 galleries from 48 countries and regions, and the free Frieze Sculpture trail in the park's English Gardens runs until 1 November. This guide covers dates, opening hours, ticket prices, getting there and what's new, so you can plan before the London art week rush.

Frieze London tickets: how much do they cost?

Tickets are sold online only. Frieze's ticket page lists weekend general admission (Saturday 17 or Sunday 18 October) at £38 early bird or £48 full price for one fair. A combined ticket for both fairs costs £76 or £92, and a student combined ticket is £32. Child tickets (ages 2 to 17) are £6 to £10. If you want quieter aisles, Friday 16 October preview tickets start at £63, and a "first access" slot before 3pm costs more. Thursday First Preview runs £130 to £150 per fair. Frieze says complimentary-ticket applicants will hear back by 5 October.

Where is Frieze London? Getting to The Regent's Park

The two fairs are on opposite sides of the park. Frieze London is in the south of The Regent's Park, with its entrance off Park Square West (postcode NW1 4LL), close to Great Portland Street Underground station. Frieze Masters is on Gloucester Green in the north-east corner near London Zoo (NW1 4HA). A free shuttle bus links the two entrances about every 15 minutes. Coaches can't enter the park, so the organisers suggest Baker Street station as the nearest drop-off.

What's new at Frieze London and Frieze Masters 2026

This year's two fairs set contemporary work next to art history, with galleries from six continents. At Frieze London, the Focus section for young galleries has 35 presentations, advised by curators Cédric Fauq, Joumana Asseily and Freddie Powell. Frieze's own pre-fair coverage previews new paintings Brazilian artist Dalton Paula is making for Frieze London, and a "How To Look At" feature on Mira Schendel ahead of Frieze Masters. Brazilian modernism looks like one of the threads to follow this year.

Outside the tents, Frieze Sculpture has been open since 16 September and runs until 1 November 2026 in the English Gardens. It's free, so it's an easy way in for anyone without a ticket.

People also ask: is Frieze London worth it if you're not buying?

For most visitors, yes. Frieze London is one of the best places to see what galleries around the world are showing right now, and Frieze Masters puts antiquities, Old Masters and twentieth-century work in one walkable space. Budget at least three hours for each fair. If you plan to do both on one day, buy the combined ticket and use the shuttle. Weekend afternoons are the busiest, so pick a first-access slot before 3pm if crowds bother you.

Plan a London art week around Frieze

Frieze week fills London's museums too. Our live guides to Tate Modern's Light and Magic (thesundayprofile.com/tate-modern-light-and-magic-2026) and Salman Toor at the Courtauld (thesundayprofile.com/salman-toor-courtauld-2026) fit easily around a Regent's Park day, and the National Gallery's Renoir and Love show is a short Tube ride away.
