Mahhi hit back hard, and the two spent the rest of the night trading insults.

How Scout OP became captain without winning a single vote

Bigg Boss ended Aasif Khan's captaincy and handed a special "power of X" to the four former captains: Aasif, Uditi Singh, Gullu (Kushal Tanwar) and Yung DSA. Each went into the 2X room and named two contenders who, in their view, should not lead the house.

According to Times Now and Filmibeat, the eliminations went like this. Aasif removed Love Gill and Aman Gandhi. Uditi removed Mary Kom, saying the boxer "will hesitate in giving instructions," and Kanika Mann, whom she called selfish. Gullu removed Aamrapali Dubey and Arishfa Khan, taking a dig at the ghee box Arishfa had hidden earlier in the week.

Yung went last. With Mahhi, Qazi Touqeer and Scout still standing, he removed Mahhi and Qazi. Nobody had named Scout, so he became captain by default. ABP Live reports that wildcard Manish Goel had already been kept out of the race for playing safe in nominations.

Earlier in the day, Scout had also won a puzzle task against Arishfa, NDTV Profit reported, so it was a good day for the gamer.

'Chugalkhor' vs 'machhar': what Mahhi and Yung said

Yung's reason for removing Mahhi is what lit the fuse. He said she gossips behind people's backs and acts nice to their faces, HerZindagi and ABP Live reported. Per NDTV Profit, he also said, "I don't see leadership in Qazi."

Mahhi didn't take it quietly. According to Times Now, Yung also called her unfit for captaincy because she doesn't play on the front foot. She shot back, "Tum logon se kam hu. Front foot pe tum aao," and later added, "Mard bano pehle. Aurton wale kaam kam karo." She also accused him of simply repeating what Nakul Dhull had said about her.

The line fans are clipping most is the insult HerZindagi quoted: Mahhi telling Yung that he is a "machhar" (mosquito) and will stay a mosquito. ABP Live reports that she also called him a kid. Yung kept needling her by singing at her through the episode.

A twist: Scout puts the rivals on the same duty

Scout's first move as captain may keep this fight going all week. Times Now Navbharat reports that he reshuffled house duties so that people who don't get along have to work together, putting Mahhi and Yung on utensils and pairing Love Gill with Kanika Mann. The two argued again during the shift.

Times Now also reports that Scout named Arishfa Khan to help him make sure everyone does their duties, and introduced a rule of five sit-ups for anyone caught using abusive language.

Why this feud is not new

Voting on JioHotstar closed at 10 AM on Friday, October 16, and the result is due at Salman Khan's Weekend Ka Vaar on October 17 and 18. Unofficial early trends from Filmibeat had Yung second and Mahhi in the middle of the table, but those numbers are not official, and the final order is unknown.
