Episode 37 of Bigg Boss 20, which streamed on JioHotstar at 9 PM IST on Monday, October 12, 2026, and aired on Colors TV at 10:30 PM, was less about a single twist and more about pressure stacking up. According to Filmibeat's episode report, the house moved from a kitchen fight between Kanika Mann and Arishfa Khan to a long nomination task that put eleven people in danger, and then to a tense but measured exchange between Qazi Touqeer and wildcard Nakul Dhull.
The ghee fight between Kanika and Arishfa
Filmibeat reported that Kanika Mann and Arishfa Khan clashed over ghee in the kitchen. In a house where food, chores and respect are everyday flashpoints, a small pantry argument can become a season storyline. The two have already been in each other's orbit for weeks — including through the lollipop row that Salman Khan addressed on the Weekend Ka Vaar, which we covered in "Bigg Boss 20: Salman Khan Slams Scout OP and Yung DSA Over the Lollipop Row as Nakul Dhull Walks In as the Second Wildcard."
A fight over cooking oil sounds trivial until you remember how Bigg Boss edits domestic friction into character. Kanika has been one of the more vocal players; Arishfa has been at the centre of several early controversies. When those two argue on camera, the nomination board usually follows.
Nominations stretch to eleven names
The same episode carried the Week 6 nomination task. Filmibeat listed Qazi Touqeer, Yung DSA, Kanika Mann, Love Gill, Arishfa Khan, Scout OP, Gullu, Uditi Singh, Aman Gandhi, Mary Kom and Mahhi Vij as nominated. Safe, per the same reporting, were captain Aasif Khan, Aamrapali Dubey, and wildcards Nakul Dhull and Manish Goel. Captain Aasif also used his power to nominate Mahhi Vij directly.
That list matters for Episode 37's tone. A kitchen fight and a captain's strike on the same night tell viewers the house is not settling after the wildcard entries. Mary Kom, who was saved in Week 5, is in danger again. Aman Gandhi, who spent a lifeline instead of leaving, is back on the list with no buffer left.
Qazi confronts Nakul over a remark
Filmibeat also reported a separate confrontation: Qazi Touqeer calmly confronted Nakul Dhull after Nakul made a remark about gay people to Aman Gandhi, which left Aman displeased. The exchange, as described, was not a shouting match. Qazi raised the issue; the framing in the report is of a measured call-out rather than a brawl.
It is worth reporting that carefully. Reality shows often amplify identity-related comments into viral clips. What Filmibeat described is a housemate objecting to a remark that upset another contestant, and a new wildcard being challenged early. Nakul had only entered the night before, during Salman's Sunday episode. Being questioned this quickly shows how little honeymoon period the house is offering him.
Why Episode 37 matters for the week ahead
Put together, the episode did three things. It reminded viewers that Kanika and Arishfa remain a combustible pair. It locked in a huge nomination pool that will dominate voting talk all week. And it tested Nakul's early alliances, with Qazi willing to speak up and Aman already unhappy.
The season began on September 6, 2026. Exits so far have included Rohed Khan, Isha Rikhi and Rhiti Tiwari, according to earlier recaps. After a Week 5 result with no eviction, Episode 37 sets up a Week 6 that looks far less forgiving.
What to watch next
The next few episodes will show whether the Kanika–Arishfa kitchen fight cools down or feeds the nomination narrative, and whether Nakul adjusts after Qazi's confrontation. Voting for the eleven nominees is now the main game outside the house.
