Vijay Salgaonkar is still pulling crowds in the middle of the week. Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, the final chapter of Ajay Devgn's crime-thriller franchise, has crossed Rs 230 crore net in India and Rs 365 crore gross worldwide in just six days, according to trade tracker Sacnilk.
The new totals also push the film into the top four highest-grossing Hindi films of 2026, India Today reports. Here are the latest numbers and the milestones still ahead.
Drishyam 3 box office collection day 6
On its first Wednesday, October 7, Drishyam 3 collected Rs 15.50 crore net in India from nearly 16,000 shows, according to Sacnilk figures carried by India Today and The Times of India. That is a 20.5 percent drop from the Rs 19.50 crore it earned on Tuesday, with overall occupancy of 19 percent.
The six-day India net total now stands at Rs 232.50 crore, while India gross has reached Rs 279 crore. Overseas, the film added Rs 6 crore on day 6, taking its international gross to Rs 87.50 crore. Together, that makes a worldwide gross of Rs 366.50 crore.
Here is the day-wise India net collection, as reported by Sacnilk:
Day 1, Friday: Rs 62 crore. Day 2, Saturday: Rs 53.50 crore. Day 3, Sunday: Rs 61 crore. Day 4, Monday: Rs 21 crore. Day 5, Tuesday: Rs 19.50 crore. Day 6, Wednesday: Rs 15.50 crore.
That adds up to an opening weekend of Rs 176.50 crore net, NDTV Profit notes, followed by Rs 56 crore over the first three weekdays. Box office figures in India are estimates, and trackers sometimes revise or differ slightly on daily numbers.
The new milestones
Four round-number markers fell on day 6. The film moved past Rs 225 crore and then Rs 230 crore net in India, and its worldwide gross went beyond Rs 350 crore and Rs 365 crore.
The bigger headline, according to India Today, is its place in the 2026 rankings. With Rs 366.50 crore worldwide, Drishyam 3 has entered the top four highest-grossing Hindi films of the year, alongside Dhurandhar 2, Border 2 and Hanuman Ansh.
NDTV Profit adds that, despite the midweek dip, the film remains ahead of the earlier Drishyam films at a similar stage of their runs.
Footfalls: nearly one crore tickets
The audience numbers are just as striking. Sacnilk estimates that 7.21 lakh people watched the film on day 6, taking total footfalls to 95.04 lakh in six days. That leaves the film fewer than five lakh footfalls short of the one crore mark.
For a franchise that began as a remake of a Malayalam thriller in 2015, that is a remarkable turnout for its final instalment. NDTV Profit notes that the Hindi third film takes a different storyline from the Malayalam franchise.
What's next for Drishyam 3
The next targets are the Rs 250 crore net mark in India and the Rs 400 crore worldwide mark. India Today describes the film as within touching distance of Rs 400 crore globally.
Thursday's collection will complete the first week, and the second weekend will be the real test. The Times of India notes that the second weekend will be particularly important in determining how quickly the film approaches these milestones. A strong Friday-to-Sunday jump would put Rs 400 crore worldwide within reach soon after.
Drishyam 3 cast and crew
Abhishek Pathak, who directed Drishyam 2, returns to direct the finale. Ajay Devgn is back as Vijay Salgaonkar, with Tabu as Meera Deshmukh and Jaideep Ahlawat as SP Rajveer Singh Tomar, according to NDTV Profit. Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta return as Nandini and Anju, and the cast also includes Prakash Raj, Rajat Kapoor, Mrunal Jadhav, Saurabh Shukla, Kamlesh Sawant and Neha Joshi.
The film is written by Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh and presented by Star Studio18. It runs 2 hours and 30 minutes, carries a U/A certificate and released in theatres on October 2, 2026.
